Dr. Raymond Ferri and Dr. Patrick Lawrence Make A Donation To The Amram Shrine’s Circus
Have you ever been to a circus as a child or have seen a child’s face at the circus?   It is fun to watch their eyes twinkle and see their mouths gape open with amazement.  It is also wonderful to see a child or adult who normally would not be able to attend experience such joy.  This month, Dr. Raymond Ferri and Dr. Patrick Lawrence made a sponsorship donation to the Amran Shrine’s 20th annual Three Ring Circus at the North Carolina Fairgrounds: Governor James B. Hunt Horse Complex.  The donation allows 30 people in our area, who are underprivileged and disadvantaged to attend the exciting circus.  A few of the organizations that have been able to attend in the past are; Central Orphanage in Oxford, Child Abuse Center, Dorthea Dix Deaf Center, The Tammy Lynn Center, United Cerebral Palsy Center, Charlie Gaddy Center for Children, Harold Sherman Adult Day Center and Person County Group Homes, just to name a few of the many organizations who are deserving to attend this special event.  This sponsorship donation also allows Dr. Ferri and Dr. Lawrence to donate 30 additional circus tickets to be distributed to an organization of their choice.   
Dr. Ferri states, “I can remember taking my children to a circus when they were little.  They had a blast.  It was very entertaining and a great family outing.  I hope that I am able to spread a little of that joy to other people, especially to those who would not normally be able to attend.”  Dr. Lawrence said, “I can remember going to the circus as a child and enjoying the clowns and how they interacted with the crowd.”  If you or your company would like to become a sponsor, please call the Raleigh Amran Shriners at 877-639-9906.
