Dr. Raymond Ferri and Dr. Patrick Lawrence Make A Donation To The Amram Shrine’s Circus

This month, Dr. Raymond Ferri and Dr. Patrick Lawrence made a sponsorship donation to the Amran Shrine’s 20th annual Three Ring Circus at the North Carolina Fairgrounds: Governor James B. Hunt Horse Complex.  The donation allows 30 people in our area, who are underprivileged and disadvantaged to attend the exciting circus.

Our Valentine’s
As we know Valentine’s Day is a day to remember those who are special to us.  This Valentine’s Day Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we gave away roses for all of our “lady” patients.  We gave chocolates to all of our “gentlemen” patients.  We just wanted to let them know how special they are to our office.  As many of you know our mission for our patients is to give them quality care with friendly service.

Q & A:  Why does my child need a custom fit mouthguard?  Why can’t I just buy one of the over the counter “boil & bite” mouthguards?

It is estimated that this year that over 5 million teeth will be knocked out during athletic events.  200,000 of these injuries will be prevented with custom fit mouthguards.  In sports, over 34% of injuries involve injury to the face.  When using a custom fit mouthguard, these injuries are decreased by 99%.

 

Xerostomia or Dry Mouth Syndrome

Dr. Raymond Ferri and Dr. Patrick Lawrence of Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Cary, NC explain that, “Xerostomia or Dry Mouth Syndrome is when there is an absence or decrease in saliva flow in your mouth.  Xerostomia can lead to more serious problems if left untreated.

Halitosis
